Kate
Rackley
Kate Rackley, born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, is celebrated for her versatility as both a dancer and choreographer across a wide range of dance styles. Growing up, Kate’s early training focused heavily on technique and ballet, which laid a strong foundation for her dance career. To expand her knowledge, she furthered her education at the CLI Conservatory, a prestigious institution led by Teddy Forance. There, she had the opportunity to train with renowned instructors such as Martha Nichols, Wade Robson, Riley Watts, Nina McNeely, Tyrik Patterson, Sienna Lyons, Dana Wilson, and many other exceptional choreographers.
Kate has had the privilege of performing on numerous live stages, with recent performances including Robert Green’s “Bitter Earth,” Pauline Casino’s “Sweat,” and Al Blackstone’s “Last Dance.” In earlier years, she also performed in the closing show for Radix Dance Convention under the direction of Tessandra Chavez and Tyce Diorio. Kate’s talent has been showcased on film, including performances in Wade Robson’s “Element” concept film and Micaela Taylor’s “Lost” concept film. Additionally, she has appeared on television, performing on KPTS for several years, where she featured her studio’s Nutcracker production and participated in a private interview segment for talented teens on KAKE News.
Upon graduating from CLI Conservatory, Kate was offered a performance position with Royal Caribbean Entertainment and an internship with CLI Conservatory. During her internship, she had the chance to assist Teddy Forance and contribute behind the scenes for the program’s fourth year. This experience has allowed Kate to assist with auditions, intensives, and classes alongside notable figures such as Teddy Forance, Martha Nichols, Dakayla Wilson, and Riley Watts.
Currently, Kate is completing her internship with CLI Conservatory while staying busy teaching at various studios and mentoring students through their training.
